Yeah... Pound World just opened a massive store in Worthing where the old BHS used to be, in one of the biggest flagship retail spaces there right in the middle of the town centre. Sad times for the high street.

Same over in Sheffield, a GHM! (Guess How Much) opened across the road from Poundland. Since then it's been 90p for a limited time only. This was about 3 months ago.. I predict it will be a lengthy 'limited time'

I think the golden days of Poundland are over. Confusing new price model with stuff over and under a pound. And last time I was in one it all looked like junk. Plus they still had a load of stuff from when it was a Family Bargains months ago - all overpriced junk just clogging the shelves.
They also got greedy buying 99p Stores. I think the 99p Stores people got out at the right time.
Pound World seems to have better stuff.
And Home Bargains are thriving as they sell quality stuff at low prices.
Never been keen on B&M.
Point is the whole single price/discount store world seems to be shifting.
