Let me know if the link works above and then you can get unlimited minutes and unlimited texts and 4gb data for the £10 a month! Don't know if the pre reg was person specific or just a hidden link!
But to be honest the one with 1500 minutes is pretty much the same as who uses more than 1500 mins anyway! Bought this yest for my wife and no tcb seems to be offering upto £10.40 cashback but page doesn't work! I'll let you know how speed is etc...

A word of warning this will be in your credit file! My wife had an old current account but for some reason it was closed down properly! It was for £17 and it went to 5 months late payment and then to default! Nearly scuppered our mortgage so i'd be careful certainly not worth it for £10 just get the pac and then near to the end of the 30 days just use the pac!
If you cancel direct debit it will go down as late payment and then after 5 months will be recorded as a default! Most phone contracts bit not all are pit on your credit file! So it it worth it for £7.50! Up to you of course

So only way to avoid be charged for the next month when you cancel is to cancel the DD before you cancel?
Cant they come after you though?

Done the pac number and no problems at all so far! Says will take two days will update you when changes over and of speeds etc! Credit where its due was slow sending out but everyone else spot on! I gather this is standard 4g and not 4.5g?

Seems to be capped around 25Mb where I am.
But I was with 4G on life and the speed was just the same then too.

I've always had to end up cancelling dd's with these people or they take payments after you cancel. Then you can never get your money back.

I said I wouldnt pay for the following months bill if I cancelled but they said I had no choice.
Plus if I cancel DD wont they cause problems?

Got a question and hope someone can help as I am lost.
So I am really annoyed as been ill for a while and my sim wouldnt allow me to text or call. I wasnt able to call Life to ask them for credit and when I was better and called they said they couldnt credit me as I didnt call them regarding the issues.
So I decided I rather leave this awful company and cancel my contract.
But what is bothering me is they say that despite being rolling contract I have to give 30 days notice (which I get) but I will be charged for the following month. Now I have already be charged for the month and if I try to cancel today they have said I will be charged the following month.
Is there no way to cancel the contract without being charged the following month?
I have been charged for months without being able to use the network at all. Feel like I have been robbed.

Why not just cancel the DD?

I'd love to get with EE but all the best deals are for existing customers :disappointed:
Users were saying last week that EE retentions were giving this same deal for £7.99 with EU data too!

I'm guessing it's to do with the difference in 3g/4g bandwidth. There is a definite improvement in coverage.

I got an error on the page where you input card details. I think they're really strict that everything you type matches with the card issuer.
I just used a different card and everything went through the second time. BUT they did send out 2 sims with 2 accounts that I had to sort out

But as it turned out there was no need to pre-register as the £10 deal is open to all.
Did you hit the Get Deal link and apply yourself?

Actually I can say I had the exact same experience too. My Life data signal at work and home was adequate, but not amazing. Since the day Plusnet took over my data speed in both those areas suddenly upped itself to the full 25 Mb.
I thought it was a placebo effect but maybe something did change afterall.

How does that work then? The only thing that has changed is who you pay your bills to. Network is still EE, no?

Glad I made the switch to this deal about a week ago. Transition was smooth, coverage is more comprehensive than Life (less dead zones and better reception at home), better speeds (capped at around 25/5), call center has been helpful and not outsourced overseas. So far so good.
The only minor niggle being the £3.50 charge for the sim which is apparently added to your next debit.

Prices, content and terms may change at any time during your contract. We'll tell you about important changes in advance, and if a change is detrimental you'll be able to end your contract without any fees.

So far, when dealing with @Plusnethelp on Twitter, I've been speaking to the same bods I did at Life.
I get the same with Virgin Media. Everyone on here seems to get these magical deals, but when I ring up on several occasions I get nothing like some others do. I tell myself everyone else is just lying about their amazing deals to ease the pain :man:

Slightly off topic, but just wanted to get the word across. I have been a Plusnet customer for 4 years having, landline, BB and calls with them. I am a very light user so I haven't encountered some of the issues I have read about on Trust Pilot and the likes. My contract with them is coming to an end (Christmas Day actually) and I approached them about renewal and was interested in their £18.00 line rental & BB. Its an 18 month contract and the first 12 months are payable up front and the remaining 6 months is taken on a monthly basis.
Absolutely not a cat in hells chance of me getting that. Its for new customers only and that really sickens me off. So, I've told them its their prerogative to make the rules and its my prerogative to take my business elsewhere which I am in the throes of doing. On the Plusnet forum, someone in more or less the situation I speak of, has phoned up, got the deal mentioned, a £50 Amazon voucher and free anytime calls. Its just the unfairness of the situation. Oh well, onwards & upwards.

I got 8.99/Mo for unlimited min and text with 4GB (4G) on EE so better than this. but maybe retention deal only and no cash backs from quidco or TCB
You can tether and answerphone is included with minutes or unlimited!
EE is better network plus 2g i've used ee 4g on ipad the free 100 gb at the mo i use three the 12gb for £22 and where i live i can say ee is faster and better coverage!

Don't really need unlimited minutes and texts but I like the rollover data idea plus the ability to flex the plan up and down every month; Sync = Sky Go Extra included (worth £5/ month on its own although half price offer atm). So for me as a Sky subscriber it's intriguing but there's a distinct lack of detail around the offering such as download speeds, whether wifi is included or not, whether there is free voicemail or not.

After taking 30 mins to get my PAC code from Tesco mobile, i have tried at least a dozen times to sign up for the pre reg Plusnet mobile offer, and yes i am a Plusnet customer, but each time i send page with bank detail i get a Whoops not working page back from Plusnet. I really cant be arsed to phone them, wasting even more time, getting through is a bloody nightmare, its put me off now, any other deals around about this price on 30 day contract, need 600 mins calls, unlimited txts and about 2 gb data. Sort of happy with my trusty old Nexus 5 so at moment not really looking for new phone
