I agree the superior item is the 4.7W mini (or micro) colour mood lamp, which comes with a mains adapter.
A side note for [prospective] owners of the mood lamp (not the one advertised here) - this lamp can be run from USB if you have the correct cable, I'm awaiting delivery of one to remove the need for the adapter, as I have am Anker 6-way USB behind the TV where the android box/chromecast etc all live. I have tried this and it works, using a cable from a similar device - just a matter of getting the right fitting cable!
NB also there are two devices on this particular page, the Sound light is not the same as the Mood light (which detractors inc. myself mention above)

It sounds a bit rubbish compared to the regular livingcolors micro lamp. I have the regular one that's listed as the "mood light" and I was very impressed with it but it looks like the brightness of this lamp is very different, the regular one is 4.7 watts, this one is 0.4 watts and it can only run on batteries (whereas the other one is mains powered)

Not controlled by app. Standalone unit. Have to spend a wee bit more for the app controlled one.
