This is an amazing deal, I thought I had a great deal after much shopping around but paid £10 more from Maplins recently
Just get the adapters, but google them as there is some concern there is an electric shock hazard with some.
I would recommend mine, but looking at them there may be some risk as I can see the metal ring at top of bulb is exposed.
The white bayonet bulbs are now available at £14 a pop.
Got my whole house automated now and loving it.

Bayonet set is way hard to get. And usually not cheap. Get this and get the converters they are about 2 quid a pop on amazon, use them myself.

So with this I still need to get the converters to make it work? Or it's not that necessary

Doesn't EU refer to the screw in sockets being EU "standard" whereas the UK "standard" is bayonet?? I could be wrong but I will be very surprised if this turns up with an EU plug. I've ordered so will confirm....

I am pretty sure UE/UK refers to power adapter, my hue led strips were delivered with eu/uk adapter to fit both uk and european sockets.

IKEA sell a 2 pack for £1 as their entire lighting range is totally Edison Screw. You can be assured they will have satisfied EU safety Standards; the AMZ stuff is coming from the land of the rising sun and production quality may not just be as rigorous.

All a bit confusing for me, so these are the white ones? I thought you could change the colours using the app or are those different type of bulbs?

These are purely white.
The next type is white ambience - (Multiple tones of white)
The 3rd type is colour changing

In that case I might need to contact them in the morning to swap the order to the uk/eu version. Thanks for the heads up. [/i]

plenty of sold listings on eBay for just the bridge for £40-£60 (even though Amazon sell bridge for £50).
Could buy for the bulbs and sell the bridge. eBay fees would probably make this idea pointless though

Others are most likely way more on-the-ball than me but just to reiterate these are not the colour bulbs. Nearly got excited myself.. think these are normally around the £60 mark?

Guessing you will need to get a EU to U.K. adapter for the power supply.
Not sure what this means, but its pretty confusing !

Hey guys - the EU model should not have been available for sale on our UK site, this was a mistake from our supplier.
The UK model was on sale correctly and at the same price but this offer was posted to that EU model. Anyone who ordered the EU model is being contacted today by CS to confirm you want to swap your order to the UK model and we'll then be getting stock to fulfil in the coming weeks.
We do have stock on QL CHPV Hue White and Color Ambiance Starter Kit ready to ship today for delivery tomorrow.
Thanks

Well I guess that answers that then.... however I rang this morning and the girl in CS had no idea about it. Promised to get back to me asap (I rang bang on 9am) either on the phone or if she couldn't get an outside line (!?!?) by email. Unsurprisingly I am still waiting.
