This is the lowest price I've ever seen the light strips! The extensions also have a third off.

Thanks - I have no idea what this product is but a quick google shows it is worth spending some time looking into further.

Thanks - got a 2m kit and a 1m extension with £15 off. My first adventure into Philips Hue - I'd been looking at bias lighting for the TV so this will do nicely.
Will keep an eye out for a bridge now - think this will get expensive over time.

Look at the Almond 2015 router, that has Zigbee and can control almost any home automation device.

Worth looking every so often. I tried this morning and nothing. Just checked again and found one popped up close to where I am this afternoon. Presume someone reserved it yesterday and didn't turn up...

I tried this as I'd reserved it to collect before knowing about the discount code. Went to collect and they tried to add the discount code but it wouldn't work. Very annoying. In the meantime I ordered another one from Amazon which is slightly cheaper (but obviously more than the Argos one with the discount code).

So much cheaper on Amazon for LED strips. They're only about 12 quid for roughly

as said before the quality of these hue strips are much much better and people who are buy into hue ecosystem are most likely wanting to have some kind of smart home integration with IFTTT, Amazon Echo, motion sensor and various apps.

Im not going to say the cheap LED strips on ebay are the same thing but dont they achieve the same result for £6ish ? "/

No. They're crap. It's like saying a Mini Metro does the same thing as a Rolls Royce. Yeah, it moves. Those ebay light strips light. That's where the smilarities end.
