Does this only control one bulb? Or can a group be configured off one switch?

You can configure the switch to control as many bulbs as you want if you have the Philips hue hub. You can also configure different scenes for first, second, third and fourth button presses e.g. the second press of the on button might set 'tropical sunset' for a given room, but the first press the 'bright' scene.

Seems big, wonder it would fit a traditional switch ?
They're great if you have a switch in a ridiculous location (like behind a door), you can place this anywhere you want so you can operate your light in a more suitable place. Saves on electrician costs to relocate a switch.

No it won't fit the standard square hole if that's what you are asking, you essentially just stick to the wall, no wiring, the central section is magnetic and can be detached and used as a remote..

Looks like it's also just been discounted to the same £17.00 at Amazon too if you prefer:
a) Dimmer alone (£17): Dimmer Switch
b) Dimmer with 1 white dimmable bulb (£21): Dimmer Switch with White Bulb

True but if, like me, you already have coloured bulbs throughout you don't need more white bulbs and can save £4 on each dimmer.
