When I posted this 2 days ago apparently it wasn't a deal because Tesco direct did it for £49.99 1 year ago.

Better than the Tefal Actifry and lasts. Had one for 2 years. Longer than the tefal lasted and cooks chips quicker.

Amazing results. I use mine a lot. would like 2 because that would be useful. does steak so well. chips are amazing. can't do both at the same time though.

dont phillips have the little cage you can add to give you dual height and thus two levels of cooking surface? many other brands do, id be surprised if Phillips had missed that trick? or did you mean because you want different temperatures?

I have been waiting for £49 deal
doesn't look like it will be because of Brexit :disappointed:

As others have mentioned, this was £49 on Black Friday last year, so not the lowest price ever on Amazon.
However, I still think this is a good price and I have used this regularly since purchasing it last year.

I have the digital one the thing is these can do way more than just chips, not sure if the tefal etc can do that or not

Yep not here! We paid £49.00 BF last year on Amazon. still going strong not like the Tefal thing that packs up. Forget about not moving as comments above this machine is fantastic even at this price.

This is amazing! I have one and it's great for chips and all sorts of things! I would never do chips any other way and this is way cheaper than I've ever seen them before!

I've got the 9240 and I love it. In the instructions they recommend to open the basket and move the food around.
Never used a Tefal Actifry so I can't compare them.

Then this is just a fan assisted oven as said in the reviews. Tefal actifry and Breville halo actually move the food. Don't buy it because it because the brand name is Phillips.

The basket does not move.

Does it moves food like frying or stationery like grill?
