Can i ask what for other than chips? I bought one and didn't really find a use for it. If the oven is on i'll just stuff the chips in there at same time.

These were on a Black Friday deal at Tesco last year (not sure which model though). £50. So regretted not getting one...

if you like your chips tasking like cardboard then these are excellent, tried a few different types in case it was just me but there all the same, good price but a poor product

I bought the Salter Airfryer from Sainsburys for £70 two days ago because all the reviews say it's easier to clean than the Philips. It is. Very impressed with it, cooks quicker than the oven and oven chips are amazingly good. I might be going on a chip butty diet!!

You can do pretty much anything that goes in the oven. Doing a gammon tonight.

Frozen chips in the oven take 25 min or more depending on the instructions, 12-15 min in the Salter Airfryer.

I currently already own a airfryer and have for the last year, and i use it to cook litterally anything that fits in it and also that cooks in the oven.

Owned a few "air fryers". I have the digital version of this - it is by far the best one in terms of final product. Chips always come out perfect. I use it for a lot of other things as well.

Sausage rolls, chicken poppers, heat pre-cooked pakora, potato croquettes ... anything you want crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Anything with a high fat content gets a bit smoky.

Guess these were not further reduced for Black Friday by Amazon nor Tesco. That's a shame.

Can get for £55+p&p on Amazon
Namey
25 Nov 16#31
Yes but with p&p at £7:37, that still makes it £62.37. Still a saving of £6.63, almost 10% I suppose. I was just holding out and hoping for more of a deal for Black Friday - by hotukdeals standards

If it's the same model as last yr where Tesco sold for £50 then this year it being £69 ain't a good deal at all!

i agree. Has anyone else found a better deal than £62.37 including p&p - online or in stores?

Funnily I have just checked Amazon again and a new Seller has just popped up with a lower price. £46 + £7.37 p&p (total £53.37). This looks like a good new deal, however I am apprehensive about placing an order in case it's a scam because:-
a) It appeared on Amazon very soon after my comments above.
b) The seller has only 1 review despite having other items on sale (all Philips only items!).
c) The one review is from 2013 - some 3 years ago
d) The p&p of £7.37 is EXACTLY the same as the seller in my earlier comment who was selling at a higher price - so I think it might be the same seller in disguise or an undercutting scam or fake altogether.
e) The delivery date is 1-5 December - which seems long time 10 days.
Anyone got any thoughts as to whether this new deal sounds suspicious? Would I be covered by Amazon if there was any problem after I place my order?
UPDATE:-
This seller for £46 + £7.37 p&p (total £53.37) has now removed the listing from Amazon. Hmnn......I wonder why.....?????

That's the only reason I posted the amazon sold and dispatched by, and also Tesco bc before I've purchased a fake product from a seller at amazon

Iv been waiting for BF to get the philips airfryer as I missed out on the previous £50 price on amazon. But iv just tracked it on camel camel tracking site and its showing this £69 as the cheapest it's ever been on amazon since 2010. Now I'm wondering if I imagined it went down to £49 last black friday? Maybe i should just buy for £69 and not hold out for it to go cheaper.....
