A pretty good price for an excellent bread maker.

You just wipe the bread pan out with a bit of kitchen towel and wash the paddle like you would a piece of cutlery. Very little cleaning or maintenance. I use this machine 2-3 times a week and I wouldn't be without it. At this price it's a genuine bargain. Well spotted op.

Yesterday there was one left in store in Tesco Lee Vally, London, if that helps anyone.

Anyone know if the SD-ZB2512 ever drops down in price?
It's the same as this (sourdough/artisan modes) but has stainless steel body and yeast dispenser. Cheapest I've seen is John Lewis at just under £190, or direct from Panasonic.
Also have this one bought it last week, was same price in store and when I got it .. it was much more expensive on Amazon.
It makes a great loaf... providing you don't use the rapid option...

Use mine at least twice weekly. I make baguettes for sandwiches and garlic bread. I honestly haven't bought shop bread since and the results are consistently perfect every time.

Try a loaf slicing aid and a very good bread knife.

the only time I have ever had an issue was when I forgot to add water lol. every other loaf I have made has been far superior to any pre-packaged loaf from the supermarket.

Mine has a timer that goes at least 12 hours - could be even longer. Cracking device which will go on for years. Only problem is that we now don't like most shop bread.

Ditto, the only shop-sold bread we buy now is the odd French stick and crusty roll. Nothing beats the smell, flavour and texture of a home-made loaf, and YOU get to control exactly what goes into it. Also, machines like the Panasonic make breadmaking a doddle.

You can certainly make multigrain bread (that's the type I make, using different flours, seeds, oats etc - it's nice to experiment). You can make soda and rye bread, even pizza dough and cakes! As to whether you can set and leave overnight, as far as I know the longest programme length is about 5/6 hours, so that's not really an overnight setting. But my machine is 3 years old and the latest models might have a delayed start function. Perhaps check Panasonic's website?

Can you do a multigrain bread in it? it is possible to put all the indigents before bed and put timer so you have warm fresh bread in the morning? Thanks!

Excellent gadget, the only thing that hasn't ended up in the kitchen cupboard!

Is it easy to clean? I love using kitchen gadgets but hate cleaning them after use.
