Definitely not a nationwide thing. Checked 3 stores yesterday, 2 of them didn't even have a Microsoft section, the other had both cards and 2 of the boxes - which were "reduced to clear" at £50.

Took both to the til to be told by the manager that they'd "just put the box through as if it was the card" (which came up as £59) anyway, because the box had no barcode.

checked, West Hove, Brighton. coming up at £59. worth checking though.

None in East Kilbride.

Our store (Chelmsford) just had cards that you take to the checkout.

None in Reading Calcot or the one in Slough nr Wexham Hospital.

If you're a student it's likely you can get it free through your school/uni. My teenage kids got office 2016 download free via their school log in.
Good price though if you can't get it free or HUP.

None in Redditch or Longbridge. Both had the new 'card' type subscriptions at full price. I suspect it is the old stock that is being cleared out at some stores, which used to come in one of those clear plastic cases.

Think it was about £80, but just buy another deal, mine was £40ish from tesco this year.
