I believe these newer models stream at up to 720p, but its obviously dependent on a good broadband service. I've got the entertainment and kids pack and the pic quality is decent on ours

Its a good deal if you do have a box. Buy for the passes and then sell the boxes on Ebay for £5 - £10 each. Quite useful after the 'Game' letdown.
