Walked into Currys in Northumberland Street Newcastle and the Now Tv rep is there today.
Saw the deal for two older black boxes and year of entertainment for £30 or add a year of movies for an extra £30.
I said I didn't need any more boxes, could he do a deal on the new Smart Now Tv box.
They said they could do a year of Entertainment and Movies via the top up cards plus the one Smart Now Tv box for £70.
As the usual rrp is £69.99 on the Smart box so it's not a bad deal ( I know it's on offer for £24.99 at moment)
So one year Tv and Movies for £70 is not a bad deal as I was paying that a month when I had sky.
I guess it's a instore deal only and a rep has to be there but the new Smart box offer is not advertised but they will do it if you ask.

So you might want to change the title to include the years entertainment... for example Now TV New Smart box with one years Sky Cinema and 1 years Entertainment @ Newcastle Currys.

It might be at all stores, but I know the Now Tv rep was in the Newcastle store but normal Currys staff rang it through the till so may be on the system
They did box with 3 month entertainment for £25 and then each card was £5 they scanned. 2 month cinema x6 and 3x 3 month entertainment.
Each card is marked at £15

This is the same thing that happened earlier on the year where staff are basically abusing a promotion. Starts off as a nowtv rep pushing it but then this educates them and it starts to spread. I got one year of both entertainment and movies and an old box for £50 last time. Took several visits to the stores and a lot of sweet talking and understanding what to say but got there in the end :smiley: search up the old deals and you will find it to see all the tricks from last time :smiley: Let's hope this one does the same but I would guess once bitten twice as shy. Time will tell. :smiley:

No tricks in the Newcastle store, they had a sign as you walk in on a basket of boxes.
Multiroom Now Tv offer
Buy 2 Now Tv boxes
And get 1 Year of Entertainment and box sets for £30
Save £50 was £80
When you get to the back of the store a rep is there and another sign saying add one year of Movies for an extra £30
£60 for a year of Entertainment and Movies and two Now Tv boxes.
I had to ask for the Smart box deal though as I said I have loads of the old boxes and don't want another.

I did see the expired offer but this was a different deal as it was for the newer Smart Now TV box.
I did know that it was an isolated deal as it appears to be the Newcastle Branch but some stores may be doing the deal too.

Yesterday i went instore and spoke to the nowtv rep. The offer is supposed to be only available to customers who have bought a new tv in store. However he wangled it through for me.
NOW TV box, old style with 2mth movies. £10.
2 mth movie sub cards x 5 (5 cards) £25
Total £35 quid for box with 12 mth movies.
He also offered to add in 5x entertainment cards for another 25 quid, making the total price 60 quid. However i have all that via freeview hd and smart tv functions, so it was not required.
Amazing value, and had no difficulty getting it, but it wasn't adverised and prices in store are higher. I would say as long as card resellers dont spoil it and try and buy 20 cards in one go, the reps will play ball and keep the offer going.
