You can't really compare a machine that heats/froths milk with a basic model and say this is "cold as ice". I think this is a good deal, especially given the fact you get £75 worth of credit with it.

As usual someone comes along to moan about a product/deal that doesn't appeal them for one or more reasons.
Lets stop buying food from shops (rip-off) and grow everything in the garden it tastes so much better. It's proper food
Can you make a higher quality cup of coffee using a manual machine and grinder? Most probably, with a bit of experimentation and practice. Is it OK for people to choose to buy a coffee machine to take advantage of the convenience of pods. Sure it is. The power of choice eh?
More to the point; this product is being sold at a considerable reduction in price. If you have want of such a product and the means to purchase I'd suggest this is a good deal. Voted hot.

have you guys tried programming your coffee machine, or are you all just using the default settings ?
here's how to do it, i feel like it could give a bit more coffee but i wouldn't want the taste do be dull
The first drink isn't always hot so if your wanting it hot I press the clean button first, and also let a lungo run with no cap in. Piping hot then

My serial number didn't register on Monday-Wednesday, just tried it again before calling them and it went through fine, identifying it as the correct machine. Perhaps they've been swamped with sales, or realised they'd missed that machine off their files? I've just completed the online process so we'll see!
My TopCashback initially tracked at the 16.5% but has now gone down to about £6 too.

I sent in an email to register my machine and claim the £75 vouchers. I had to send in my Nespresso club number, email, number and some other personal details. I also had to attach a picture of the serial number (on sticker on the machine) and a screen shot of my order email.
Cashback is via quidco. See my earlier post.

you need to send the full product name and your member number and a copy of the invoice from AO as well as the SN from the machine
max84
29 Nov 16#62
ok thanks i have emailed my details to [email protected] , i think im finally getting somewhere with this now
mine come today - and I had the same problem as other - first you had to list your machine as a 520 (ok as it is the same machine as it is the lattissiama+) but when you got to the promotion site you go through 2 pages until the serial number and waste time double checking before you have to phone them and tell them it does not work - anyway they gave me a email address so I could sent them the details + an invoice copy (I am guessing we will all do this or just post the information! which is probably easier in hindsight)
They fobbed me off on the phone pretty much. Clearly the issue is that this model isn't listed on the 'my machines' section, so can't match to the serial number. They said the site was too busy and to try later...
So I'm going to send in the serial no. and proof of postage using the postage form. Probably get a quicker result that way!

28 Nov 161#45
Ok so here is a long one. Sorry for spelling I'm on my iPad and rushing as I'm in work.
TCB have raised the cash back to 19.5% on this item for today only. I tracked my cash back with Quidco as they do a double the difference highest cash back promise.
Once my quidco had tracked at £1.49 I raised a Higest Cash Back claim and put in the TCB details. It has just confirmed £35.64 cash back in addition to my £1.49. I have it as successful on my Quidco screen.
Originally it only tracked as £17 for my claim so I spoke to them on chat and they put a ticket in to sort it.
So I've paid £99 for the machine, will receive £75 in vouchers and £37.13 cash back.
Edit: added screen grab.

Its not about good deal or not. My comment is about being financially educated. On a long term its like a scam, they fool you with deals so you buy that machine and pay a lot of money on pods. Thats why they offer deals. Same thing as a printer, you pay less than £30 for it but £12 for a cartridge that can print 160 pages. We should have a little bit of education when it comes to "I want that now" because its a deal and jump to buy it.

I have this and a normal nespresso pixie and this is my preferred machine. I've had it 2 years with no issues and the milk dispenser couldn't be any easier to use or maintain. The whole thing can go in your fridge and then you just break it down and throw it in the dishwasher.

It's actually £25 x 3 of credit (you cannot use more than one £25 credit per order) attached to your Nespresso account which can be used when either placing online orders or in a Nespresso boutique. Capsules or accessories (cups, capsule holders, that sort of thing).

The introduction of milk to your drink is "automatic" - but you still have to fill up the container :stuck_out_tongue:
The heating method differs in that it uses steam rather than induction. Whether this is an advantage depends upon your taste.
I prefer to have an all-in-one rather than a separate frother.
