I have been watching this for a while, I know it has been cheaper a few months ago but this is the best I have seen for a month or so.
I think they must be price matching somebody. There is the usual two year warranty from John Lewis.
The phone has a lot of good reviews for the price and will be good to replace my wife's old android.
Would be interested in your thoughts.
Will it be reduced further on Friday?
The white Dual-sim one has also been reduced now to £149.

Like others deciding on Moto G4 or P9 lite - I need to do side by side comparison with real phones

I had a look at the P9 lite as I really hate that the Moto G4 doesn't have a compass (how many pennies would it have cost to add that?) but the P9 lite has a shared SIM2/SD card slot which is even worse IMO. I'm certainly going to need to use a SD card as 16GB doesn't go very far (and I imagine most people would say likewise) so the P9 lite might as well be a single-SIM phone.

Got P9 Lite for my Mrs from EE when it was on offer at £129. great phone. So good that hot another from EE when it was offered for £169 with Beats headphones for my daughter. Seriously thinking of getting one myself now! Only concern is it has no gorilla glass so may be fragile from dropping but as I have mobile insurance through my bank maybe not such a big risk!

I have had both and am keeping the P9 Lite. One big difference is that the P9L has much better call quality, clearer and less harsh/distorted that the G4. Better screen on the P9L, better battery life and build. Not quite as quick and of course if you want a more vanilla experience then the Moto scores high there. P9L IMHO is much the better value and more premium. The X Style is better but even that the call quality is nothing special not as bad as the G4 though. Even the skin on the Huawei I personally like lots of useful adjustments.

I ordered the plus version and it was full of bugs. Video playback laggy, sound cut out. Annoying volume change and I don't even remember everywhere. Fix was every time to just restart it. Maybe I got a bad one..I had to send it back. :disappointed: So the price and good specs are not everything guys! Look for issues and problems in google for the phones first.
But I liked it still as the shape and look and most of the handling was good. Battery life was also good. ended up with a Huawei P9 Lite which is flawless.
