But the fingerprint scanner is boss and the camera is way better on the plus jobbie. Well worth 15 notes extra.

Don't forget you also get the turbo charger with the G4 plus  if it bothers anyone!

cheaper than usual but not worth the extra money over the normal G4, camera isn't that much better and no NFC chip so can't use Android Pay
Save some more money and just get the normal G4

In the article i posted they compare the 2 cameras and there isn't a great deal of difference........I've given it heat as it's a good price for the plus but just not worth the extra £25 when the normal G4 is £139.01 on the Moto site including customisation.
Just tying to give others a bit of insight

Heat added for price, but would rather pay for a standard G4 with extra RAM instead than for the enhanced features of the "plus" model.

No need, Moto G phones handle their ram fine when multitasking through apps

If this had the extra RAM I'd be all over it. Still a good price though. Have some heat.

I thought this but it really doesn't need it, flies along as it is and I never have to close anything. Probably due to running almost stock android with no bloatware

Boo hoo!
Bought yesterday for £184.99!!!
Do Amazon refund the difference.... If not, could I send it back during 14 day and order another? Surely thats a silly way both for me and Amazon!!!

yes Just contact them, because you're covered by distance selling regulations, they wont want you to send it back, so just refund it

There was just one in stock, really worth posting as a 'deal' for the masses?

Can you share link to the Moto G4 at £139? I see it going for £159 in the Motorola site.

Best price I've seen for the plus. Are there any other enhancements apart from camera and fingerprint?

Plus has turbo charger in the box, normal one only has regular charger so you'd have to pay another £20 if you want to fast charge the normal one
Couple of vouchers reduce it down to £139.02

Right now, no need but in the long term things can change. I'm still using Moto G1 and was lightning fast 3 years ago with 1GB RAM, but now struggles. I suspect as time goes on, more and more demands will be put on the apps as what has historically happened with PC software, so I suspect anyone looking for longevity will want to take this onboard.

theres a better huk deal from the motorola website which allows more colour customs and even john lewis is better value as it comes with a 2yr warranty

For me the fingerprint scanner alone was worth the extra cost, i dont care about anroid pay but its so convenient for unlocking (obviously if you dont usually use a passcode or whatever that might not matter much). The fast charging is also handy. Slightly annoyingly i bought it about 6 weeks ago when it was £20 more but it was still a good deal. I bought it as a stop gap because my toddler smashed my lg g3 but i'll probably keep it longer than i thought.
