3G only at the time of this post, however for many of us with kids this is quite a saving to the normal deals out there (can cap at £5).

If you claim all the cashback (set reminders in diary) and QUIDCO comes good on the £10 it's effectively 0.66p a month!!

redemption deals don't usually go down well here. you're still paying the monthly cost either way. the cashback just becomes money in your pocket that you'll likely spend on something else.

True, but for people like me that would spend £7.50 per month on 3 rolling contracts anyway would rather have the extra £216 in my pocket.

That's exactly the point of cashback!

Hot deal but I didn't think you could cap extra spend the deal with Talk mobile? It was one of the reasons that I ended up going with Life mobile for my son

They set the standard extra spend cap at £50 but will reduce it to £5.

Great deal btw. Whether they get hot on here or not, Cashback deals are so easy to keep on top of these days with the online submissions

I'm fully aware of that, but for me personally, applying it to the ongoing price of something is a false economy.
On a low income, I want to know what's going out month to month and not the "effective" cost of something. But I accept that's just my opinion and not one that many agree with but that's fine.

In fact they will go as low as £1, just come off the phone with CS.

Gone - they've upped it to £3.50/mo after cashback. Any more deals like this?

i moved my son from tesco mobile to this, be aware you can't cap usage so be careful. the whole process was easy, and tesco were great.

You can set a spend limit, anything from £1.

Completely the opposite way of thinking to me , On a low income I want to know what the 'actual' cost of ownership will be for the term and not just the initial monthly outgoing.
Obviously if I couldn't afford the monthly cost of £7.50 for a phone contract then I wouldn't be looking at getting one anyway.

Anything similar available? Is this typical pricing for TalkMobile / Mobile Phones Direct offers?

Have the exact bundle, bought with handset over a year ago. Talk mobile is part of Vodafone group I believe. The Internet isn't fast but usually works fine. Customer service is good and easy accessible. No problem with cashback from mobilephonesdirect, flag the right dates in your calendar, follow the rules and money will be on your account within few days after you claim.

Would avoid anything to do with Mobilephones direct. Had one of these cashback on redemption contracts and most of the time they tried to avoid paying.

It's not the same!
It's £3.50 after cash back!
I think I missed this deal Again!!!!
