had 6v ride ons in the past and find them very underwhelming, go for 12v or higher in my opinion.

we have a generic 6v and it's very slow but our son loves it. issues are ours is single motor so easily slips and struggles to deal with grass if not mown that week. also as it's always struggling battery life is not great. if it had 2 motors it would be bearable for outside. this will be fine indoors and on smooth hard ground for smaller children.

i agree with Mark and I had the same issue. it's better to go for 12v

We have one of these my 2 yr old son loves it, loves switching lights on and off and running everyone over, the battery only lasted about 15 minutes on the path outside but its well used so battery has probably worn, on carpet it lasts a whole day x

Was it a 6v also. My son be 20months at Xmas maybe a 6v be better for him.
Tho in saying that maybe a 12v with a remote I get a few years out of it.. Hmmm

I got one of these for my sons 3rd birthday. When he unwrapped it ive never seen him so happy. Great looking car and well made. he had great fun scooting around the living room! It was a different story when we went to the park, cue the tantrum! It was way too slow outside and really underwhelming. My son has grown to love it and is still his favourite toy but im planning and swapping out the 6v battery with a 12v one as ive heard this is quite a popular upgrade to little 6v cars. There just too slow!
