Windows phones died years ago no point having a phone and the software is so weak no top apps

I read that it isn't. The brand is licensed and managed by other people.

The tablet they released (overseas) was just the name, but as far as I'm aware the phones are real Nokia design team (whoever escaped MS's evil clutches)

Except it's not the real Nokia, just the brand name...

Received mine but the box has definitely been opened. Device is pristine though so maybe they were selling off whatever returns or whatever they had left (without labelling it properly).

I bought it when it was in stock but email says out of stock. :disappointed:

If you're enclosed in the Windows ecosystem, it should be adequate. on average phones are changed every 24 months anyway so imo it's still got some life left in it. where M$ goes with WP in the next 24 months is the greater question.

I really wanted WP to do well as it has a lot to offer. At present, continuum seems the only useable feature from a business perspective for its business users, who are, in all honesty, the majority of customers.

Avid windows phone fan after having a Lumia 800, 925, 930 but when nokia stopped producing the phone the design and reliability died. The fact that you cant even get ebay app now makes this pretty useless to me. for the price its hot, good camera, good operating system but i just cannot do everything on it that I need. Bought a Xiaomi Redmi 3 pro and its just as good (bar the camera) with all the apps I need for £80 less than this. To me thats a no brainer.

No longer showing on their website, only the 950XL at £499.

It doesn't matter how good an OS is and the hardware, if it doesn't run the software you need it's redundant. So I say to everyone interested in this phone, do your research first.

After 4 years using Windows phone I switched to iPhone due to the uncertainty over the future of Windows phones for non business users. Had this been available at this price then I would definitely have had one. I miss the Windows phone. Heat added.

great phone shame about the app store. I have one the camara is amazing. Not rated by DXO but I suspect thats political.
