Saw these today in my local Aldi and have been wearing them all day! Great slippers and proper Harris Tweed too. I think these are a steal at £7.99! In store only right now.

I had a pair of non-Tweed Aldi moccasins last winter and they were, frankly, rubbish. The sole compressed to paper-thin in a matter of days. Very disappointed, should really have taken them back for refund.

I have it on good authority that Sandi Toksvig is a massive fan of the tweed moccasin slipper. A hot deal for a lovely pair of Toksvigs.

Apologies - I didn't even realise Harris Tweed was a thing! Thought it was just the name for this particular make of slipper. I'm sure the Harris Tweed aspect of the slippers aren't made in China - it's not unusual for China to import it and then for other companies to use it in their manufacturing. Same goes with other products made in other countries.

They bear the Harris Tweed Orb mark, so pretty sure the tweed element comes from the Outer Hebrides!
