I've bought one but I can't seem to get it to record video, it'll take pictures OK but wont record video. Anybody any ideas, and yes I've pushed the button down.

Can anyone figure out from those specs what the camera is like? I know this model is more toy than camera but considering one for video edits... of course it's not going to be the best camera but a rough idea would be great

The problem with these cheap drones cameras is the lack of stablising. So imagine taking a picture on a budget phone while shaking it all over the place.

It should last my son longer than his interest span lol

Wooh - Do you work ther? or perhaps have shares?
In my opinion the item would better convey its purchase worthiness if it displayed several more photographs, including a picture of the box front, large enough to read. The manufacturer obviously put the details there to inform (including its ability to 360 degree flip if applicable) and influence purchase.
Some sellers even include videos: even on low price items such as this.

This is a nano quad; 19cm diagonal, so definitely not a syma x5c clone.
Its size will make it a poor choice for outdoor flying in all but the calmest of days.
If an x5c clone is what you're after, you can get them delivered from China for ~£15-£20 on ebay (used to be £10-15 before Brexit).
No camera ofc, but slinging an inexpensive keychain camera on the underside is trivial to do.

Wish there was a larger picture of the Deal image. At least then we could see the spec on the box.

The spec on the website is extensive, particularly for a disposable priced drone

Been considering something like this for a while but wasn't sure if it was for me so this looks great. Doesn't cost to much and sounds like a good starter to see if I'll enjoy it. Thanks op, heat added.

Nope! You'll be surprised. I have one and it's very sturdy. It's flown into trees, walls, bushes, crash landed several times, still it works. One of the blade protectors have split. That doesn't stop it flying. You can even twist the bent blades and it flies. Only trouble is 10 minutes flight time doesn't seem long. Never timed it (will do next time), it feels like we fly it more than 10 minutes every time. I always keep the cameras removed. May be that does the trick.

If it is a Syma X5 clone it will be perfect for a first quadcopter. Super cheap parts and very durable.

was going to get one of these, but are there restrictions for where you can use it, don't want to get one if it's stuck in the house, was looking at the parrot jumping sumo drone one as well

All drone,s have restriction on where you can fly them legally!

These look like a Syma x5. This is a good quadcopter to start with. Parts are cheap and you won't kill anybody learning to fly. You can fly in parks and on fields as long as you are more than fifty metres from any people or buildings.
