There's a digital number pad on screen. It's a bit difficult to use but works well for inputting simple numbers.
I find the software to be OK. It does the job. The desktop software is much quicker if you can put up with it looking terrible. The phone app is great when you don't want to reach for the cable.

It sits on a cradle like a dect phone. Non tech savvy people don't need this.
