I watch a twitch stream where the guy bought one of these. The mic was terrible, even worse than the old thing he was using previous. Crackling sounds. He had to buy a separate one.
So while the price drop is great, would keep that in mind.

Thanks deetea, just bought a pair of sennheisers and getting a mic separate. Then these have popped up similar price and made me wanna take the others back. Until I seen your comment lol. My current pair of logitech have a really bad mic also so thanks for confirming it on these

Must have been a faulty headset because I have these and I know others that have this headset, with the sound quality being fine. I love mind, would definitely recommend. Heated.

Looking for a headset with a detachable audio cable (not fussed about detachable mic) if anyone can recommend one.
Hyper cloud II tick all the boxes apart from that. It's always the cable that becomes faulty or gets pulled from my experience.

I use a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50X and an Antlion ModMic. Granted its not the cheapest solution but the M50Xs are an amazing pair of studio headphones.

These ones, Unless im missing the point completely lol.
The 3.5mm jack is removable and turns them wireless, also comes with 3.5mm to phono jacks too

I've been looking for a decent 7.1 surround set for the Xbox One but according to the blurb these are only stereo on the Xbox (as seems the case with so many headsets). So if you were after surround sound these don't look like they fit the bill.

Just spent 40 mins reading reviews and watching youtube reviews for these vs Hyperx Cloud 2 general conscientious is G933 is the better gaming headset and the cloud 2 is a better all rounder so i went for the Cloud 2. Got a pair via warehouse deal for £46.. So if you do go for these and don't mind an open box/return get them from amazon warehouse for an extra 20% discount.
