The LG 49UH850V is also 8 bit, but has FRC (dithering) so that helps, but it's still 8-bit. The only 10-bit anywhere near this price range is the KS7000, which can be had for £800 now.

Jesus its a cracking TV with huge price drop yet we get same 8 bit 10 bit nonsense which iam sure makes no difference to the average TV buyer.

My apologies - this was the one I bought - can't really see the difference between the 2 though except for the stand and magic remote?
