They won't be as good. This one is OLED. you should see it live. amazing colours and especially blacks. the only main problem is the life of the panel.

I was being sarcastic haha.
I remember when people were talking about plasma life span but mines still kicking.
I can live with a shorter life span anyways. In 11 years I'm sure I'll have moved on to a new TV.

same my pansonic from 2013 st60 is still going strong waiting for the oleds like b6 or e6 to drop down to that 1500 mark

B6 will definitely come down soon but personally I like the e6. The b6 has a 44ms input lad and the e6 a 34ms. Plus 3D on the e6, a lot to pay for these 2 things over the b6 but as a gamer 44ms is to slow foe me.

Does anybody know if Currys will price match Richer Sounds? Website claims they won't be beaten on price but not sure of their t&c's etc...

Why would you get it from currys with terrible aftercare and 1 year less warranty?

I bought this tv yesterday through richer sounds. Excellent service and can't complain about a 6yr warranty. What's even better is they've told me if the price goes down anymore tomorrow (Black Friday) they'll refund me the difference

Hot Deal no question
I'm in line for the 65inch version of this... which has just dropped to £3999 on Richer Sounds
Is it really worth the extra coin?

In fairness, not many people buy a £2k tv for gaming...
Crossy

True but enough that LG folded and released a firmware update for HDR gaming after a lot of complaints.
Either way the option is there for a lower input lag if required.

Best TV you can buy. I remember blowing £4.5k on a 720p plasma 13 years ago so this is a bargain!

Currys giving 5 years, as thats the LG Warranty I believe.

You can also get it from John Lewis with 5 year warranty if you don't have a Richer Sounds near you, but have a JL near you.
Richersounds give 6 and its them who deal with it not fobbed off to LG.
Just by reviews alone I would not go to Currys look at trustpilot thousands of reviews and sitting at 1 star.
Each to there own though.

I've used RS in the past and their service is very personal from paying for my taxi to get my Samsung TV home, free mugs and keychains, further discounts on TVs, allowing me to return a TV 4 months in and upgrading to the lastest model. Also when I had a fault with a Samsung TV they arranged for a Samsung technician to come to my house and change the wifi adaptor within days.
With currys they are clueless and all seems corporate like.
I get an 8% off currys from work but I'm actually willing to forefit that and take the extra year with richer sounds.

I am going to give some heat! I would have posted this but thought it was already, which it was, and this has been the TV I wanted since beginning of this year!
It is awesome and I HAVE to have OLED as a minimum now after seeing the quality.
