that will be no, Its not FauxK panel HOWEVER its still not proper 100% 4K. go with Samsung or Sony for this price range for the same 40/45inchs

quick warning: profile shots of this TV are NOT representative. the TV is considerably thicker than the shots portray, so if aesthetics matter to you, best avoided.

price is meaning less if you see no benefit of the 4k .u would have to sit about 3 foot from the screen thats no joke
by a good full hd tv at this price not 4k

Although I would agree on the brands, I think the Phillips is a true rgb TV where the LG is rgbw. In this case I would go for the Phillips over the LG for this reason, plus the ambilight is a nice touch.
