I've had this TV for over a year now. it's very good...great picture and sound. But be aware that there's only 2 HDMI sockets not 3 (lg always seem to lie about that)...and only one of them is hdr capable

Yes it does. It runs webOS 3.0 and is a 2016 UH series, which all have the full suite of catch up apps including UKTV Play (Dave etc)

If you look at the URL, the model number is the one given above. Slightly worrying comment in one of the reviews about being given the wrong (inferior) panel and having to swap it.

Technically it works but it is 8 bit colour rather than 10 bit colour so it will be of much lesser quality. Add £500 or more to get 'true' HDR.

Anyway I've taken a gamble and ordered, hope the input lag is not 50ms or something daft.
Seems to be £369 most places but obviously here you get the 6 year warranty. Cheapest does indeed seem to be ao.com at £359 with a voucher.
As for the TV itself, seems like a good solid entry level set.

Thanks. I presumed "HDR Pro" is the 10bit, but no thats "Super HDR Pro" .... ridiculous. Where is the standardisation? 8bit to 10bit is a massive difference in number. 16.7m vs 1 billion colours (ish)
This TV is Edge Lit and the LG43UH620V is Direct Lit so depends which you prefer? I bought the 620V a couple of months ago for £349 and I was really surprised how good the picture was, took a bit of fiddling around with the options but there are so many ways to change the colour and brightness on the the 620V that you can get the perfect picture. The 620V definitely has 3 HMDI and I believe somebody has mentioned this only has 2?

Basically what i'm after is a TV that will look good broadcasting Sky HD as well is SD channels with a good picture for the sport. Also I may be looking at the possibility of getting a PS4 in the near future so a good gaming TV will be an added bonus.
About time I upgraded from my 10+yr old 32' Panasonic Viera HD ready TV that I remember paying around £600 for...Its been a great set but time to retire that one to the bedroom I think :disappointed:
There are a couple of really good reviews from Alan and pcman12 which are very positive. There is also a comment which says that playing 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is amazing' which I hope suggests that input lag is not too bad.
The reason for the lack of info and reviews on this set is that it's new which is why there is no input lag details - even when comparing 2 sets on displayspecifications input lag is just left blank for the LG.
"Elsewhere, there’s Smart TV apps, Freeview Play, WebOS 3.0, Ultra Surround audio quality, Miracast, DLNA, WiDi, 3 HDMI 2.0a ports, 1 USB 2.0 port and built-in web browser."

Just an update from me that I've cancelled my order for this TV after reading the latest review on amazon. He is not completely negative but he does say that it's OK for content, but unacceptable for desktop use and for me desktop use would be my primary usage. All other reviews say that it's a really good TV but for me this review put me over the line into not buying.

I suspect you may not be capable of self-reflection but please read your comments and ask yourself whether being relentlessly critical is in the spirit of trying to decide whether something is a good deal or not? On a couple of occasions you repeated a flaw which I had pointed out (that it was an 8 bit) to illustrate that there were good and bad points about the TV. You also put in links to an old ao.com ebay page which seems to have been mispriced (its the same price as RS now) and then said that it was £10 cheaper with a voucher at ao without pointing out that there was no 6 year guarantee there. By the end I am afraid you did come across as rather trollish.
Also be aware that although my priority was my desktop I do watch TV and I do use a PlayStation and the input lag was more to do with the PS than the PC.
