Voted hot anyway,
I think this is a good deal for £100+ saving, but just not convinced at spending the extra £100 on a monitor personally
(when I was originally only going to spend that much around £100 ish looking for something as cheap as possible in region of 22" anyway)

For the dimensions seems good but I'm interested in alternatives but really **** off that nowhere actually breaks this down clearly.
Is the 25 inch version really only less than 20cm ? Or is this misunderstanding or unclear dimension breakdown
I'd like to combine watching movies etc but don't want widescreen I'd prefer a more normalised squarer set so to speak ( like many large screen tellies they aren't just wide, they are proportionally tall too)
This lack of transparency of dimensions is really **** me off as it makes comparing the monitor properly
Tempted by the 27" Hanns G IPS but it appear to be 64 wide and only 25 tall. Really is this true ?
so slightly stupid question. Is the resolution on this monitor 2k ?

You can, it is called Psilocybe mushrooms. That is main secret of all Vatican priests and many other elite circles, including all shamans and true which`s. Actually it is only alternative to many other natural substances (peyote cacti, Ayahuasca, white lotus (not blue), and most precious Amanita Muscaria known as fly agaric)which alter your mind and let your critical thinking to develop. While establishment pumping into the streets chemical **** to keep you busy and away from things which help you to become critically thinking person.
What actually fascinates me, that you guys was brainwashed in such specific way, that truth would sound for you nonsense and you would instantly ridicule that, while at same time all of your natural senses could confirm that your belief is false on many aspects.
So to fight manipulators of your mind you have to become one and re-brainwash you again to get you thinking again, instead of getting you to appeal to authority and make you believe in that way.
It is not time and place, i just saw one awake person in this thread i thought i would support him, as you guys would be monkeys if evolution would be true to begin with.

2k isn't really standard but 1920x1080 is basically 2k. this is 2560x1080 so this monitor has more pixels than a 2k monitor

I caved and ordered this from Laptops Direct for £234.99 with the Which Offer. Cheaper than the flat one that I was looking to buy and it has a better stand, curved is just icing on the cake.

I wonder how your 29UM65 is fair quick monitor compared to this one as all LG monitors seems to have the same response time (14 ms).

Not a good deal imo for gamers, as for what ive read up its specs and these two turn me of, 75hz and 5ms dont cut it for that price. Maybe if it was more like £150 I would say thats a good deal.

I'm thinking of buy a ulrtrawide monitor, what do you think of the 25"? I can't decide if i should get the 25" (cheaper option) or spend £100 more and get 29".

If you'd have been happy with inbuilt tinny monitor speakers then just pick up the cheapest pair you can find

I'm sitting in front of a flat 29 LG panel. If you're looking at it closely, it's fine but you're viewing the whole panel, it feels too flat. Curved is better and this one is just £15 more than I paid a few months ago for the flat one!

You would lol louder if you would know i actually believe that, and the only reason why establishment began making that sort of monitors is to help NASA and other industrial military complex branches craft this iliusion for you that earth is somehow spining ball in the endless universe. Pretty cool relegion, but i like to keep science and religion separate.

For gaming input lag is important to. I have 29UM65, very nice and fair quick monitor, but unfortunately two months after warranty on my screen appear blue line. Before this LG I always used Samsung or Dell and never had any problems, even people who bought monitors from me.

25 was more than adequate for me - im using it more for work related activitys than say gaming so couldnt comment on that side of things but ran some video files on it the other day and they looked superb on it, the 4 way split screen software is a useful bit of kit

No info on response time on Amazon, found on scan and claims 14ms, but can't seem find refresh rate. Good price but probably not good for gaming, but other use should be fine.

About the only one I found so far with this level of clarity on "actual screen res" is

But I think for my money is on the http://www.ebuyer.com/729012-hannsg-hs272hpb-27-ips-full-hd-monitor-hs272hpb
It has to be more like 30cm high surely.
