And what does that have to do with anything? Royal Mail don't charge a premium for delivery of items to/from the province, neither do any of the major couriers. Companies just see an opportunity to flaunt the geographical issue.

I got this 6 months ago. It can get a bit sluggish but it's fine as a general tablet for browsing, YouTube/Netflix and the free Amazon Prime games for the kids.

Heat for the alternate vendors but these have been this price in Argos for quite some time, our kids use theirs daily, great little tablets and quite robust by all accounts.

Got a Lenovo tablet a while back and the Wifi was a joke. Kept cutting off on a 5GHz connection. Never getting a Lenovo again! Heat added for the price tho.

I'm not sure this is Royal Mail delivery, that'll be why the extra presumably.
Royal mail, are often more expensive to send anything... maybe the odd NI delivery is priced in to the prices that continuously rise across the board. The other couriers, simply charge the NI deliveries more while leaving UK to UK cheap.
Scottish highlands falls into this bracket too. That's not cheap.

It's not 16GB, "This tablet is equipped with 8 GB of memory storage"
Same price at Argos, if you can find stock

Can I get some honest opinions from the more tech savvy here please ?
Shopping on a budget as needed a truck sat nav but a budget decent one will set me back 79 quid operating on windows ce,
Basically I want to run a copy of sygic truck on whatever tablet I purchase thinking this one or the kindle fire as it's purely for sat nav with odd streaming thrown in and little bit of Web browsing when on the go.
What so you lot think ?

not worth it even at that price! after support is non existent and after a while after long usage the screen starts flickering which you have to reboot the tablet to sort out. I tend to use it more in the car as a satnav using waze and tethering off my phone.

It makes sense to charge more anyway. More transport costs are involved. Nothing is free.

Amazon don't charge more to deliver here, Ebuyer make it VERY awkward to obtain goods at a competitive rate if you live here. I even offered to contribute somewhat towards the some parts of GB courier delivery they offer concerning a TV I wanted to buy from them and they wouldn't even let me do that thus losing a sale, derp
