I hadn't got around to watching this yet, and as FFXV is out on Tuesday there are probably a few people out there who fancy it.
The Buy HD and Buy SD Price is almost as low as the rental.

Great visuals but terrible editing. Seriously, easily has the worst editing of any production of the last decade. No idea how that is even possible when the entire thing is CGI, so one can choose from any and all camera shots (including impossible ones if using real actors) in which to make the film.
For example, you know that godawful trend in most movies now where they do cuts every second and shake the camera about because they lack the talent to do proper choreography? Well, good news because Kingsglaive does the same! No logic to it at all. CGI characters don't get tired, don't make mistakes, so you could execute perfect looking fights with steady and clear shots all day long. But nope, for some reason that was seen as silly by the creators of the film.

Watched it a few days ago and I agree. Very bizarre editing, incredibly jarring. The film was alright though. Far too much going on however.

Heat for featuring voice acting by the legend that is Sean Bean!

voice acting and mouth movements was terrible. that fat dude with the mullet made the film almost unbearable.

I thought the exact same
I thought it may be due to it being a voiceover and the mouth movements was down to it being originally in Japanese maybe lol
Movie was ok though hoping the game will be better then the movie ...
