Good find OP!
Bought the Flip 2 a couple of years ago and was impressed with it. Battery has recently given up the ghost, only lasts up to an hour if we're lucky. Reviews on this look like a worthy successor and a beefier battery to boot.

I have one and it's brilliant, my son has had 2 more expensive supposedly better speakers but he always seems to steal my JBL and uses that instead of his Sony or beats pil.

This is a great speaker. Managed to get it for £42 direct from jbl on black friday last year, so may be worth it holding out another week

Thanks for the info. Think I will hang fire for a few more days as suggested then.

At this price probably the best small wireless speaker for the money, I originally thought it was a 'cheap' UE Boom but the sound from this is more balanced and it has big improvements over the older one including waterproofing, which is a nice touch.

I got mine from Argos on Friday.
The sound quality is very impressive for something so miniature.

Got mine from Argos yesterday, unfortunately they gave me a open unit (used? Return?) so I needed to go back to store and get a new one.
Nice gadget, unfortunately didn't have time to test it as I would like.
Any idea about how are the phone calls on it?
Is it safe to keep it in the bathroom during a long shower?

JBL Flip 3 are £59.99 and UE Boom 2 are at least £100 for the cheapest deal.
Is £40 extra worth it for the UE Boom 2?
