If you purchase using PayPal credit, are you covered? Is this too good to be true?

If you look at the previous sold items (through feedback) the "item location" all point to Torquay but all of the current offerings have Solihull as their item location. Another sign this is a scam?

Surprised this has so much heat when it looks like he's selling import phones and ipads which reviews state came used and opened.

and was the item you bought £200 under RRP? And over £150 cheaper than pretty much every other ebay seller?

Legal info shows it is listed has Elegant sales limited.
This company's head office is located in Solihull at Office 108.
The company declared SIC number is 47910 which stands for Retail sale via mail order houses or via Internet.
It also reports the director and only employee is 22 years old.
Also looks like this address is a mail box at a shop on Google street view

Coming from a huge distance away though. I mean, Solihull. It's.... a couple of hours away by car from much of England :man:

True but surely the genuine owner of the account will have noticed before then?
I bought a Samsung phone from then before and there was no issues so I'm more than happy to give them benefit of doubt.
PayPal will refund anyway if it's a scam.

nice to see the mods have checked the link, and commented, oh wait, they would lose the commission if they did that

But the delivery date is 9th december so you will be debited before it is delivered. Don't think paypal can do anything until delivery date passes and it doesn't arrive unless owner of account reports it hacked. I might be wrong tho

I stand corrected! That must have come out later on then. Live and learn!
I know eBay is known to side with the buyer, but how much of a risk is there buying this, assuming it turns out to be a scam?

totally in the same boat! shame you have to pay immediately on the sale, was hoping to grab one and then wait til the morning to pay in case it's a high jacked account and ebay close it etc.

I posted as I purchased with the buy now pay later option with PayPal they won't debit my account till 8th December so if it is a scam hopefully it will be sorted out before I'm debited.

I'm pretty sure this is a scam:
Errors in description (headset inc) and no model number
Delivery date after 'pay after delivery' date yet seller is in Solihull
All sellers items listed today
Price too low

Yep. I'm sorry OP. No doubt posted in good faith, this is pretty much a dream deal for me, but I can't push the button as it's just TOO good to be true.

I agree this is most likely fake, I bought a graphics card from ebay about a year ago because it appeared a very good price but it turned out to be a scam. Seller had great feedback too like this one.
Anyway ebay/paypal are very good at quickly refunding money when multiple people are affected, which I imagine they would be, just don't be disappointed if you get a chocolate bar in the post!

I am also a bit doubtful about this offer.. Much as I'm tempted, is it too good to be true? I would like to go for the Air 2 also. Would I be safe assuming that eBay/ PayPal would cover the cost if it turned out to be a scam.
I bit the bullet on the Air 2 for £249. Hopefully it's not a hijacked account, but I trust paypal to deal with it if it is.

hmmm, cant decide, on one hand, they have great review and paypal/ebay probably refund if there is any problems, on the other hand its way too cheap, unless its a grey import , i mean i bought ipad air 2 128gb in Australia for only £400ish but then it says its UK version.

If this is a business purchase as with many amazon sellers - its the same with eBay - most keep under the VAT threshold so you almost certainly wont be able to claim VAT back - if your business is VAT registered
Got mine for same price from Very earlier this year....wouldn't trust this though

How would you know if it's a non UK model before puchasing?
joeybutterface
24 Nov 16#9
I'm not sure how anyone could sell a brand new factory sealed iPad Pro at this price. Even retailers can't buy them for anything close to the quoted price here. That's why you see so few offers for iPad Pros in the UK. Retailers get a very small discount on Apple's own retail price, and they have very little room to discount unless Apple themselves chooses to do a discount promotion with a retailer (and this almost never happens).

Could be a scam:
- Item description doesn't load
- RM special delivery - by Fri 9th Dec
- Seller's negative feedback suggests non-UK models
If in doubt, leave out.

Decent price for a decent tablet. Typing on one now as it happens.
For me I felt the 32GB not to be enough but then I hog offline videos a lot so that may not be an issue for others.
One of the best tablets out there and it shifts like shizer. Blows most other tablets away on 3DMark.

Item description won't load for me. Seems abit dodgy? Is it an eu model with a UK charger thrown in?

The iPad Pro is a fantastic product it can be used with a bluetooth keyboad.
The apple 'smart keyboard' is silly money but a joy to use and highly recommended.
There was a case that was a bargain will try and find it.

this was the case but price is nearly £30
