It's worth pointing out that this is the lowest ever price for Dragon's Dogma alone.

I've been subscribed to this for a year now and, after a few undeniably good bundles, I became one of those people who vowed to cancel their subscription every month but just never got around to it - there's never been one that hasn't been value for money, it's just that some have had pretty good lineups and others have been unremarkable to say the least. However, I think that this month's (November's) is the best so far - a quality lineup of games there, several worth the price of admission on their own. I've been wanting Rebel Galaxy and Stardew Valley for a while and everything else is also on my wishlist! Obviously that doesn't help anyone purchasing now (sorry!) but, for anyone wondering, Dragon's Dogma is excellent and well worth the subscription price, plus hopefully the rest of the games will be decent, but if not you'll always be able to trade or gift them!

The last four months it's just like they've been reading my mind (for the early unlock games). Soma, Grim Dawn, Stardew Valley and now Dragon's Dogma. It's disappointing that, of those, both Grim Dawn and Dragon's Dogma are only on Microsoft Windows, but I guess I'll just have to deal.

It seems the last three months have all been headline games I've bought for more in the past six months. Annoying, but undoubtably good deals.

Is it really an RPG though?

Of course it is (which is why it's listed as such everywhere). No need to start one of those elitist arguments that it shouldn't be called an rpg because it lacks feature x or y or isn't 'hardcore' enough.

You may be thinking of something else? The first monthly bundle was for November 2015.
have been holding up against monthly bundle but eventually have to give up this time (damn you hukd  ). perhaps silly question, can I cancel my 1 month subscription right after I subscribed but still get the remaining games?

Ive bought several of the Humble monthlys, really down to the fact that I wanted the main monthly game. I think recently the quality of games that have been offered has been very poor. But coincidentally, the game bundles have been weak too. This is probably down to the fact that the major dev's for the AAA's no longer want to throwaway lots of licenses.
I do look forward to the monthly renewal of the humble monthly but the last 3 months offerings have been pants...its a gamble at the end of the day - which is why you shouldn't subscribe.

Got it for £8.90 as I had a 10% coupon for buying the Day of the Devs bundle.

Yes you can, but it is probably better to hold out until a week before the next bundle (not this one) is released. You won't be charged again until then and will be entitled to an extra 10% off on the humble store.
Edit for clarity: It is a week before the whole of the next bundle is released, not just the headline game.

OK, I've played both Skyrim and the Witcher 3. How does Dragon's Dogma compare? Thanks

I prefer it to both, most won't. The combat is cool, you can scale huge enemies to find weak points.

I find this game has its own appeal compared to witcher 3 and I love it. one of the game that can keep my focus and keep on playing.
the quests are less boring but picking up things are a bit tedious (one by one unlike witcher).

skyrim is far below the other two.
