Guess you only use uk based products then? And nothing with Android on? Or Windows? Or anything these days. :P

The Chuwi HI10 Plus is much better than Mediapad M2 10.0 and is currently cheaper on the Chuwi official store on Aliexpress.
The Chuwi tablet has 4gb memory vs only 2gb on the Mediapad.
Chuwi has the more powerful processor.
64gb vs 16gb storage.
Dual boot Android and Windows vs Android only.
Bigger screen.
Higher screen resolution.
Better aspect screen ratio on the Chuwi IMO.
Same quality screen as the Surface 3.
Bigger battery on Chuwi but Mediapad is thinner.
USB C charging port on Chuwi. Mediapad still has old, non reversible USB charging.
On the plus side for Mediapad is the fingerprint scanner, better cameras and better sound quality from 4 speakers.
It's not even close IMO. Get the Chuwi HI10 Plus or Pro model instead.

voted COLD because any of these cheap chinese devices will compromise your personal private data, won't use one even if it's free

Main issue is little support and a pain in the rear to sort out warranty issues. There's plenty of people who really wouldn't want the hassle, not necessarily including myself here, I fit more into being picky about things that for me would warrant an instant return e.g. dead/stuck pixels, light bleed, poor screen calibration etc. However for average joe buying something off the peg from a UK store/seller is always going to be preferable, especially if it's a gift at this time of year.

Got one of these for my step dad recently. Fantastic tablet. Screen whilst maybe hasn't got the highest res is brilliant. Side by side better than the tab a and arguably better colours than the tab2.
For an average user will be great and even the speakers are pretty damn good!
