Yeah the black one is quite sexy per say but alternatively u can buy the mesh strap for this (clone of the original from Huawei) on Ebay for a £5er if that's your thing

I've been waiting for this one to go down in price for too long and supported an amazing watch from the kickstarter called Ticwatch... Couldn't be happier as they arrived couple days ago, fantastic smartwatches!

Had this watch for a few months now. Really happy with it. Bought a stainless steel link band and black and silver mesh ones too. A strap for all occasions

can you Swim in this? does it Accurately work out Calories Burnt using a built in Heart Rate Monitor? does it also receive Texts and Emails etc Any Help Appreciated!

HI Yes it does, and whilst u can swim with it as it's waterproof, I wouldn't bother as the screen will likely go bonkers when in contact with water like mine did in the shower etc.
It runs android wear so can do the following plus a lot more features have been added since this 1st gen video and it should get a huge upgrade early 2017 with Android Wear 2.0
awesome watch got mine on amazon day.
can even take calls on it now.

I see these watches almost daily. Literally hundreds of them in my work place.
I don't see how people are having trouble with the charger. It's fine. Very easy to attach.
I've never seen another watch similar to this to compare it to. But from what I can tell of this on its own, it's very nice, solidly built and the android on it is really snappy.
It has a speaker. I know because I heard some sort of accessibility thing on it where it was audibly telling you what was on-screen.

How well android wear on this is working with iOS, had moto 360, returned it after one week because it was constantly disconecting.

I have a first gen Moto 360 and the steel connect bracelet version of the Huawei watch. Love both watches but the Huawei's battery life is excellent, I take mine off the charger at 7:30am at at 12:00am it still has over 60% charge with medium use throughout the day. Looks classy too.
Huawei in their wisdom built a speaker into the watch even though Android Wear didn't support it at the time, but now it does. Most manufacturers would have released an updated watch with a speaker to entice owners to upgrade so they can sell more watches. Credit to Huawei for building a watch with a degree of future-proofing.

Can you replace the battery on this?
matthewsalisbury56 to Skymonkey
19 Nov 16#23
I doubt you can open it up without voiding the warranty however it appears to be secured with screws rather than being totally sealed like the moto 360. There are videos showing how to take it apart but no idea if you can buy the batteries.

I had a 360 too, I found if I used the standard supplied watched faces my battery life was very good but generally it's sluggish and after less than a year the screen had terrible burn in from the charging clock.
Just got my Huawei watch this morning from Amazon and I'm impressed so far!
Apparently we should get android wear 2.0 when it's out so this watch is somewhat future proof.

I think Amazon are just matching Very on price, when the Very price goes back up, I think Amazon will as well. I could be wrong but I have seen that pattern with other items. You could buy it on Amazon and return it later if you happen to get it cheaper elsewhere.

Amazon price matched, might be worth a Flubit for a better price.
