White is the way to go especially if you have kids ,have a black F/F and is a grease magnet and shows the slightest ding in all its black gloss glory.

I have this in stainless steel and wish I bought it in white as Hotpoint use the thinnest layer and it dents really easily, I'm afraid to even cough near it. Also the beeping to tell you the door is open drives me insane. Good price though! Voted hot.

Had this model for over a year its got loads of room in it, very pleased its also whisper quiet. One thing though check you can get it in the house as its deeper than most fridge freezer's delivery lads told me its often harder to get in than the 'bigger' wide ones.

we've got the silver one, had it almost a year and am waiting for a third engineer visit to replace the freezer door. the handle fell off it after 6 months but they did a bodge repair instead of replacing the whole door like i told them needed doing (nut fitted inside door was threaded and he just lacked it out with plastic). when it fell off again i told them it needed a new door, as per engineers report at the time of the bodge job, but yet again they sent an engineer without the door. he took one look and said thesoor needs replacing. Hotpoint said it's out of stock, and won't be in stock for a couple of weeks by which point it's out of warranty! but hey, the part is free (10 year warranty) but they tried to suggest i'd have to pay £110 for an engineer to come and fit it. other than that it's a decent appliance, although the component on the smaller door makes it noisy to open and close as well as clunky.

This has smaller capacity than two door from kenwood,/currys at similar price. Also if your house is not heated, hotpoint fridges do not work. Only Beko and some other fridges work properly at low temperatures.

COLD
NO WATER/ICE DISPENSER - A PROPER YANK FRIDGE WOULD HAVE A WATER AND ICE DISPENSER

Not really. Water and ice dispensers steal space from inside the fridge or the freezer reducing capacity and very difficult to clean them. Better drink clean water than ice cold dirty water you cannot trust.

more than enough capacity on this anyway

Not really, When storing food I always run out of space on my American fridge freezer. Also they are air cooled so if you block the vents the fridge does not work properly. So not much space as it looks from outside and more gizmos means less space inside.

I have this in stainless steel paid nearly double that price, really spacious but mine does scratch and dent really easy and its started making some worrying noises and its only a year old but I love it and I'm praying to god it doesn't break

Wish i could show you pics if it with all my food in it!
