I own this monitor for over a year now, got it for silly money from Bespoke Offers (remember them :smiley:). Although size and resolution are impressive on paper I can't recommend it. I already had one replacement from Hanns and it looks I will need to get another one soon. Colours are not crisp as in some other makes.
Spend £30-40 more and get something else, AOC, refurb Dell, maybe Acer.

You can have a good go. My monitor is an older 2k Korean model that supports overclocking but I think it wasn't recommended to attempt above 120hz.

Very, very unlikely. The Korean OC thingy (I've got a Qnix 120Hz capable) was a bit of a lottery based on a specific set of circumstances that's unlikely to arise again. If a decent monitor is functionally capable of 120Hz+ nowadays, it would be advertised as such tbh.

1080p is 2K. 1440p doesn't really have a "k" standard assigned to it. It's closer to 2.5k though

Great if your card can push 1440p. Picked up a 25" 1440p Dell Ultrasharp that was posted on here, kind of wish I'd gone for a 27" now though. Still a great monitor.

Nice find would have been tempted but just bought a 27" 1080p 144hz g-sync and noticing massive improvement, especially on bf1.

Well it's not that surprising, I think because it was such a niche, unsupported product - only DVI-D, no scaler, no OSD (all things that made it overclockable) and no real warranty (unless you paid to send it back to S. Korea LOL). Like I said, doubt we'll see the like again (also got the Catleap one but sold it)...
Strange that nothing else at this price has appeared in all that time though

Looked at this monitor last month. Decided against it because its Hanns-G and ive had issues with a monitor of theirs before.
and looking at the reviews, quite a few other people agree with me. (Im taking about Hanns-G in general, not just this monitor)

I bought mine in 2013 and paid around £20 for a 3 year UK warranty with Squaretrade at the time. Fortunately I've never really had any problems with it but then I've never really overclocked it either.
