Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is the latest entry in the long running 2D fighting series and features amazing 3D visuals, gorgeous animation, fast and intense battles, excellent netplay and a fully animated story mode. After the discovery of magic, humankind began using it to create weapons, ultimately birthing the biological weapons called GEAR. The GEARs eventually rebelled against their masters. Thus began the Crusades, a 100-year war to determine the fate of the mankind. In the distant future, humans stand victorious in a world ravaged by war, but the threat of non-humans still looms and tensions run high. It is in this place in time that Ramlethal Valentine declared war on the world and all its inhabitants. After confronting Ramlethal and uncovering a sinister plot by a group called the Conclave, Sol Badguy, Ky Kiske and the others have to deal with the fallout of this event. What happened to their friend Elphelt? Who was truly behind it all? …and what is the mysterious 'That Man' up to?

I bought it yesterday when it was £14.xx over at Amazon. It's not that I'm all that upset over the xx pence, but with the game most likely not being played until way later, it just seems as if I threw my money away.

Jump now or wait... I got the Venom fight stick from Game for £30 posted here a few weeks back and bought Street Fighter 5 deluxe from PSN on sale. I intended to buy this and Blazblue at some point but I'm still learning how to play Street Fighter properly. Great price.

Wait. Both will be cheaper and you'll have more time for SFV. Some of those combos are hard but I reckon only even possible with the stick. "Stick" with it.

That depends on what you mean by comfort? I find the stick more comfortable to play with for extended periods, my thumbs are in bits after 30 minutes on Street Fighter with a pad! I'm worse however when it comes to executing specials and combos. I only bought SFV after the stick though so this is based on playing SFIV with the pad. Not sure if the inputs are more forgiving in SFIV or it's the stick. Guess I'll have to test with a pad!
If you're not getting on with the Venom that was such a good deal you should easily get your money back selling it on. I've created custom artwork for mine and looking to upgrade it to Sanwa parts as I've been also been playing Dariusburst and Metal Slug with it and it works on PC.

i bought this full price... feel like a moron but i do really like the game. thankfully it was my first guilty gear game
