Enter the lives of three very different criminals, Michael, Franklin and Trevor, as they risk everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.
Explore the stunning world of Los Santos and Blaine County in the ultimate Grand Theft Auto V experience, featuring a range of technical upgrades and enhancements for new and returning players. In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, players can expect a range of additions and improvements including:
New weapons, vehicles and activities
Additional wildlife
Denser traffic
New foliage system
Enhanced damage and weather effects, and much more
Grand Theft Auto V also comes with Grand Theft Auto Online, the dynamic and ever-evolving Grand Theft Auto universe with online play now for up to 30 players on Xbox One. All existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online will also be available for the Xbox One.
Grand Theft Auto Online Character Transfer
You will need a Rockstar Games Social Club account linked to the console accounts used when previously playing GTA Online.
When entering GTA Online, you will be given the option to transfer your previous GTA Online character and progression data. Once you have chosen to transfer your previous character and progression data, the transferable in-game money, RP and Rank of all previous characters will be displayed. These are the characters that will be transferred to the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Once the transfer has completed, you will be prompted to choose a character and enter GTA Online.
You will still be able to play your existing characters on PlayStation 3 and/or Xbox 360, however any progress made with versions of the characters on those systems after a transfer will remain on those systems only. Any existing PlayStation®4 or Xbox One GTA Online character and progression data will be replaced by the previous character and progression data during the transfer, except for any existing in-game money, which will be combined with your transferred balance.
All earned in-game money will transfer. Purchased in-game money that has not yet been spent will only transfer within a console family (e.g. Xbox 360 to Xbox One).

Ordered a few last time just for the 3.5mill and sell the games. Code is sent via email so game can be sold as Brand New Sealed.

How much did you manage to sell the game for?

So could you not just redeem the code and then send the sealed game back under the Consumer Rights Act?
Haven't yet as I'm not selling on there own but as bundle with fifa17 / pad / 12m psn and another with a ps4 and camera.

Excellent deal. Basically makes the game £10-15 depending on value of code.
Anybody else had a long delay before getting the code? I ordered last night and only got the code just now?

Apparently they will charge you for the code if you return the game so you'd effectively just be handing the game back to them. I think it's covered under the terms and conditions you have to agree to when purchasing digitally delivered items from Game's site.
I'm not sure what the situation would be when purchasing in store but I'm sure it's not possible to wangle a free code out of them.
trainspotter777

Ah yes that is a good idea as it says one per customer which wasn't the case with the deal a couple of weeks ago so probably wise to use two separate emails.

could you not just tell them the code hasn't been redeemed, not sure how they could prove that you personally had redeemed the code.

Slightly off-topic but not by much. I've transferred online character from 360 to PS4. Can I still transfer the same character to XB1? I'd imagine not since the characters wouldn't be synchronised across PS4 to XB1.

You can only transfer your character once I'm afraid.

Traded in a game, price matching CEX for £40. Bought this for £30. Traded GTA back to Game for £28 +£1 to match CEX price. Still have the Shark code to sell on
CEX now give £25 exchange, so £26 if matched.

It doesn't matter unfortunately. Buying a digital code means you agree to the T&Cs, which includes no refunds. It's similar to how you're not allowed to return underwear or edible products just because you've changed your mind.

I like your style. A little while ago Game's cheap online prices for second hand games and CeX's ridiculously inflated prices meant you could catch Game in a cycle of buying from them online then getting them to beat CeX in store and actually make money from it. Unfortunately those days are gone but occasionally deals like this one come up that can be taken advantage of.

SellTo are also one to keep an eye on - send free via Collect+, "cash" paid in PayPal. Bought Battleborn from Game for £10 and traded at SellTo for £15, and Fallout £12 from CEX for £16 a few months ago. Only downside is that minimum sell value has to be £15 :disappointed:

Ordered.
I'm sitting on £63 worth of GAME credit that I've been struggling to find a use for. Absolute bargain this; I'll probably sell the code on. Maybe I should order two - should be able to get about £50 for one copy of the game and the two codes.

sounds like an ideal way of turning your game credit into cash, I would definitely buy 2 in your position. Always fancied the game and could potentially finance it by selling a code but is there any way of protecting yourself selling a code online? Feels so dodgy doing it
Is the cash code specific to the format you buy? Or can you use it on other formats?
trainspotter777
7 Nov 16#36
Be very careful selling online as I have hear a lot of people have had buyers complaining either the code doesn't work or their eBay account has been hacked. Would try and avoid PayPal if possible as they don't offer any seller protection on intangible goods.
satchef1

Don't use eBay. While there's never any guarantees elsewhere, eBay is full of morons and they always side with the buyer in these situations. And don't take PayPal payments. Bank Transfer only. Still no guarantees that you won't get scammed, but in the event someone tries it on, refuse a refund. Forcing the issue will be too much of a pain in the butt for most people as the money involved isn't a lot. If they get really pushy (genuine Small Claims Court threats) then you just have to take the loss on the chin and refund them.

surely you could order and return them them both then once issued a refund you could then use the code which is in your email as I'm guessing it will still be valid for them to sell on?
