Glenfarclas on clearance marked down to £25 at my local M&S food (Twickenham branch), but scanned at £18. Very cheap for a quality malt.
Described on the bottle as "Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2003". And on the back states "2003 bottled in 2013" which I guess makes it 10 year old, though it doesn't explicitly say that. Alcohol 43% vol.
I note that the current range seems to be a 40% 10 year old and a 43% 12 year old. Presumably this is old stock. 3 bottles on the shelf at my branch, no way of knowing which others have stock.
Ah - looks like it was a special bottling for M&S. Review here rates it highly at £30.

Hot. This is a very nice speyside whisky. It's a long time since I tried any so that is reason enough for me to go to M&S. Cheers OP.

Looks like this branch has found another load of old stock - M&S were getting rid of this about 3 months ago. I looked at 3 M&S yesterday and had no luck (Greenwich, Stratford/Westfield, Middlesbrough).
