Just been to asda gateshead none in stock...staff said they only ever get between 6 and 12 of these periodically....voted cold as the chances of actually purchasing are very slim to say the least...an Asda offer to get you in-store or place an order online then they are never available.

Bought it this lunchtime at Asda, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. Fantastic deal, never seen Mach 3 blades cheaper!

Why do people still buy these things? You can get a decent safety razor for £30 and it cost £6 for 100 blades on ebay.

I use both as there are times when it's just quicker or more convenient to just use the mach 3. Although once you get used to your safety razor it becomes your number one choice most of the time.

Just picked some up at this price in ASDA Rotherham. The shelf edge label was reduced from £20 to £10 too so may be national. Thank you to the OP, Hubbie will be pleased

Bargain. Grabbed the last one in Asda Bootle.
These will last me at least a year (I dry the blades after use & store them outside of the steamy bathroom so they last longer), can't be bad for a tenner.
I will go to the proper DE shaving at some point, but this gives me a year to acquire the bits & pieces gradually.

Thanks...great find. I found that one ASDA didn't have any of this so I tried the other this morning and found they had loads. I think they thought I was a bit crazy when I bought 1 pack (just to check) and then another 2!

Yes, son. How is school? I hope you're not giving your teachers any trouble! Listen, son,... couldn't lend us a fiver for a bottle Scrumpy Jack? There's a good lad.
These are great! I've been using the same blade for over 2 months, and my legs are still as smooth as on the first shave.

Lidl blades are poor compared to Gillette. Bought a pack but they clog up too easily for me.

Great price though I've found for some reason that the Mach 3 disposables seem to last myself longer than these. Always preferred these to the 4 blade systems although lately I've switched out for the Lidl 3 blade system £1.99 (or maybe it's £2.99 can't remember) for 10 blades and £1.99 for the razor which comes with 2 blades last just as long as the Mach 3 and find the shave just as good.

Thanks for the tip, I'm going to give those Lidl blades a try. I've just started shaving again for the first time in years. I can't believe how expensive blades are!

I find just about any blade can last a lot longer, when after shaving, simply rinsing under hot water through the back of the cartridge then quickly under cold water, then drying the razor by pushing it along a dry towel in the reverse direction of shaving - maybe 10 or 20 strokes.
The fibres of the towels both dry and sharpen the blades - personally, I find these gillettes can last up to ten times longer.

I am becoming more feminine in my old age. Takes me ages to powder my face and shave with an old beer top due to lack of razor blades. I think it is all the hormones in the water.
