Fantastic price but just a word of warning...

Coolshop are great but they have been known to supply non U.K. Games. The games will still work but the barcodes are not the same as UK. So for those looking to sell to cex you have been warned.

I'm sure this isn't for every game but I have previously bought a couple and couldn't sell them on when the time came.

Hopefully these are the real deal uk released but for this great price I'm sceptical.

Got my copy today. No invoice included and no markings on the envelope so I can't tell the date it was sent.

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting. I had the same ship date... their support team said they had a lot of enquiries from the UK for copies shipped on the 1st. I have completed the claim form and have requested another copy be sent.

Still waiting on mine that was dispatched 1/11. Said they have dispatched another copy today.

Overall a good price for the game but such a long wait.

I tried contacting them about the price reductions but they wont refund the difference!

Mine had made in Ireland on the back and came with all the previous gears as DLC codes, very happy! Although the packaging was a bit hammered on arrival.. luckily nothing damaged tho! So all good :smiley:

Get onto them they said if you don't message within 5 days of Dispatch they will declare Its been delivered

Mine hasn't arrived yet either. My Forza Horizons 3 did (also on a cheap deal from these guys) - but no sign of this yet.

Got my GoW today & it was a Ireland version so I'm happy. Still waiting on Forza which I kind of regret getting now. Seemed like a good deal a week ago but not now when I still don't have it. Won't be ordering again since it takes too long for delivery. Cashback didn't track either so it's going to take a long time to get that.

As I said above, the website and staff say it will be PAL unless stated - and some of the titles/products do have "nordic" written next to them - so it at least looks pretty obvious, I'll check mine as soon as get them and let you know

Would be interested to hear what version people get... Nordic... UK PAL, etc.

Anyone know if they do free returns? When I asked for a £4 refund because the price had dropped, I asked are the games UK versions the guy said ' All games we sell are PAL verisons. I don't think there is such a thing as UK version' :confused:. I'll be sending them back because what's the point if I can't trade them in after I play them.

It's just 10 days from booking in the sale - used to be working days but it changed, my order has been shipped - hoping to have it by Friday to post straight off! Anybody had any experience with coolshop deliveries? I know it says 2-3 days from shipped on the website but just wondered how accurate that was?

​CEX honour the price for 10 days now so as long as it gets to them within 10 days of the sale order they honour it used to be 10 working days but its cut down to a week a 3 days now

Same here. I've taken American and Canadian games as well as bundle copies in there and they never batted an eyelid. They just took a barcode from a book behind the counter and scanned that instead.

I asked if they would honour the £25.95 as it changed during the process of purchasing and was told no. :disappointed:

not great if I remember rightly as they asked me to ship the batteries back at my own expense, wasn't worth the arguing and stress so I took the knock and just binned them

I have traded Nordic region games to CEX in the past with no issues it's game who won't take them.

Anyone have any experience of Cex lock in prices. I literally sold mine to them yesterday online at £35 thinking price would drop soon. Then saw it for 25 today and bought lol. However do Cex change price when it gets to them ie they have the right of refusal?

I've ordered from CoolShop in the past. The game unfortunately arrived damaged, but the customer service I experienced was excellent. I'd not hesitate to recommend CoolShop.

I ordered this todayat £29.95 and they are refunding the difference after a quick chat, they are shipped from netherlands so I expect this is there origin... regardless I want to play the game so £10+/- saving is worth it now for the hassle selling... which i probably wont do.

Also note that my CC wouldnt allow international transaction but in the 5 odd tries i did there system black listed my email address so keep in mind if international transactions etc are blocked on your card and that there are a limited number of attempts
