This is when its a great deal £25 and u can share I'm tied of physical copies of games why I don't play as to lazy just looks good to look at physical copies as they sit on shelf . Peeps buy physical I think because u can keep for ever and play many years down the line like ten years plus . But can you. Now days day releases there are updates patches etc . so really in away many years down the line having physical wont matter as once xbox live doesn't exist it wont matter if you have old games and buy an old console . might as will buy digital and those updates patches will always be there and in years to come if your xbox
brakes and no longer xbox live then your still ducked

Actually rather annoyed with the price drops. Preordered (only spent £40 on the credit mind) and it dropped to £43 release day and now this.... Games great though. Will teach me to jump on the play anywhere bandwagon though.

Awesome deal! Even better, I got £50 Xbox credit for £40 from Wuaki last week. Used it to get Titanfall 2 at £33 and just used the leftover £17 towards this and paid the £8 difference. Basically got both games for £48. Now just gotta wait on it downloading.

Nice! Love this game. Time to ditch the disc version and go digital. Multiplayer is great fun. Much better than Gears Ultimate...but then that was to be expected as Gears 1 ended up being pretty much all about the Gnasher.

if I only played and completed gears 1 will I be able to grasp what's going on in gears 4? I know the GOW series aren't exactly known for having the most complex plots but still.

Judging by your setup I might fare better at 1440p with Gears 4.

Just playing this. Ran upto an opponent who had gnasher pointing 90 degrees away from me. I shoot. He doesn't even move let alone his gun but bang...he shot me dead 100% damage. This isn't isolated either. Have been getting zero damage sometimes from inflicting 3 gnasher rounds but getting dropped / headshotted by other gnashers at silly ranges or one shot killed over and over.

Still if there is cheapo DLC around ...tell me! :laughing:

how big is the download? think I've only got about ten gig free on my Xbox hard drive. if I delete a game do I lose all my progress i.e the save file?

I've still got two £20 xbox codes from when Microsoft Store shafted us all on that Master Chief Collection (the Halo Fan bundle deal last year). Can I use both codes (£40) and receive the leftover £15 back in another code? Or has it got to be exact, e.g use a £20 code and pay a fiver by bank card to cover the remainder?

Didnt rate the game tbh, Its quite repetitive but does have great visuals. Cheesy AF too.

in that sense physical you can sell digital you cant .But I wasn't talking about resale value .I always said if your one to play complete sell its good but as I like to keep for ever as don't get time to play threw quick and even if I did I'm slow at games . But for peeps like me who like hold on to games I always used to prefer disc as cd keep for ever but whats the point with day one updates etc might will just buydigital .

Yeah fair point. I haven't bought a physical game on PC for years. Physical games always seem to be cheaper on console when I'm buying them though! Would be nice not to have to faff around with the disk.

You can't run this game on 2 people's Xboxes with a physical disc though though.

i don't play half the games coz there on disc lol never thought id be a digital guy i used say arr but what digital what if ur console brakes etcetc on disc u got for ever . but when thought about it if ya xbox brakes u can download profile new xbox then again i always thought on 360 but what if at same time the harddrive broke ow wait the hard drive bit i used to think what if that happens once live no longer active anymore lol and at same time drive brakes then i ducked lol

I bought £25 worth of credit from Wuaki for £17.99 last year. Never used it till now. So only paid £18.03 for it as I paid the remaining 4p from my debit card. So works out cheaper than £20 :P

That's my understanding yes, those 2 things wouldn't be a drawback for me as it's friends/family I'd intend to share with.

Sorry to be a noob but can you explain this sharing thing please? How exactly does this work? Where does it say it can be shared between two Xbox's? I couldn't find anything about sharing :/

I've played this tonight (I only play multiplayer) and I like it. It feels like the old gears games and not stupid judgement!

It seems like the gnasher is the king in this game again and controlling the power weapons.

Having erratic success with it. Am ranging from 15 kills 2 deaths to just 2 kills and 8 deaths.

I don't like all the psychedelic skins and outfits I think I prefer just having it plain because it's very childish...
