Because if they say the word 'small' most people wouldn't buy them.
I also hate the word 'funsize' when applied to small sized fruit. When I see funsize now I just replace it with small sized.

Totally agree....aldi as one call their small apples and pears fun size....never makes me laugh :smirk:
