does anyone know if they send an NUS straight out or do you need to send proof you're in full/part time education?!

You need a .org.uk email to get the student prime....nothing to do with NUS

Instead of cash, will you accept a Vodafone SIM with £5 credit on it?

Could you use this to renew an NUS Extra card? I have one already, but it will expire soon. Mainly use it for the 10% Co-op discount.

Only certain co-ops though.

If you don't plan on using the bundle on the SIM card you have around a 1 hour window to spend the £10 credit on the SIM card before the bundle is activated.
So a £5 PSN top up and 3 minute x-rated phone call for example haha.
Be aware, if you stick with the £10 bundle it expires after 30 days.

I'm pretty gutted that the 5% off at Amazon has stopped. The card pretty much paid for itself over black Friday. You do get 10% off at the co-op though which is useful for me.

They now do 20% off Amazon Warehouse for Students.

The Amazon 5% discount has ended which was the main reason I got one of these. Managed a grand total of 50p from it. I'm genuinely not happy with how much they plugged that discount during September without mentioning it expired at the end of October.
If the other discounts are useful then you can't go far wrong but I think Amazon was a big draw for people.
And you can get the 6 months free prime without NUS, either with an email or an enrollment form.

There's a reason less retailers are accepting NUS now and choosing UniDays...

Just email a picture of your NUS card to [email protected] and they will send you a link to sign up without a .ac.uk email address.

The 5% student discount for Amazon has ended and not renewed. But you can still get 50% off the cost of prime.
