The black version of the Fitbit One Wireless Activity Tracker is down to £40 on Amazon. Burgundy version is still £70.
Ideal for someone who can't wear watches either because the strap irritates their skin, or for health and safety reasons, etc.
I've got the Fitbit Charge HR, but my parents and sister all have the Fitbit One and think it's great.

I've had several Fitbits, Ultra,Flex, Charge and Blaze and the One. Provided you buy a chinese wristband so that you can wear it on your wrist like a watch they take a lot to beat. Very accurate with at least a weeks battery life and give you info unlike the Flex. Apparently if you wear it on a belt around your waist its at its most accurate step count. I used to keep it in my pocket but there was always the issue of losing it, hence the wristband!

Tried to find one yesterday (black Friday) and this price beats all. I have a fitbit HR charge but strap is looking worse for wear so changing to the fitbit one as I only use the steps and stairs function (using heart rate drains the battery)

Ha - typical: was hovering in the mid-90s temperature-wise for ages - the moment it goes hot, they go out of stock.
