Yer I hear ya. The PS1 FF's were my child hood. Having played for about 3 hours last I would say you will probably enjoy this more if you don't think of it as a Final Fantasy game, it is really quite different. To me it basically players like a JRPG version of Witcher 3.

Game is quite a lot of fun and have played quite. This deal is getting more tempting...
The food in FFXV is making me hungry though

Well I'm now interested again, but too be honest i haven't enjoyed a Final Fantasy since IX I much preferred the turned base stuff as well.

I don't put much faith in reviews anymore, honestly I have bought all major releases this year and FFXV has given me the most fun already, I had very low expectations despite being a massive fan of the franchise, but that was before ffX which IMO was when the franchise started to get a bit meh... X is still an amazing game, but nothing compared to the earlier games.

For what it's worth I was surprised at how positive the reviews were, I was expecting a clusterfk tbh.

All the ones that I have seen are pretty positive (Link) Not that Metacritic is everything by any means of the word, but what negative reviews have you seen? I'd be interested to see a harsh review for the sake of balance.

really its getting great scores, all i can think another person who won't touch a game unless it gets 10s across the board. never understand people who won't get games if its don't score higher than a 9, be missing out on lots of great games

I had the same issue, apparently I can never buy anything from them because they are worried about security. I just want to use paypal there anyway like I do with any other site I buy from, this is the only website I have ever been asked for credit card details on making an account, seems a bit like a scam to me.

What's this about??
"Sorry, we cannot supply digital products to customers who have not previously received physical products and had a card registered to their account for at least 30 days.(1)"
I've bought a physical item a couple months ago. Apparently you need two! So you need to buy something before you can buy something? lol

I've heard that multiplayer is included in one of the season pass dlc, on that point alone I'm making a stand and not buying it.

only review score I listened to in that list was eurogamer, the fact they are telling you to play through it shows that it must be good!
disclaimer I do have a crush for Aofie and Ian higton is a tad annoying (in a positive, charming way)

Out of the 2 codes I was supplied one of them doesn't work at all, I'm hoping that it will work tomorrow when the game is officially released :disappointed:

GTA V has a bad story, extremely scripted missions, and terrible on-foot movement and shooting mechanics but still managed to get 9/10 scores across the map. These open-world games (Skyrim, Watch Dogs 2, etc) are a sum of their parts and a few bad mechanics aren't enough to bring them down.

I am having an insane amount of difficulty actually making an account for this site, I did buy from them previously using Rakuten before that was closed down but trying to actually use their website they are requesting credit card details just to make an account, since I want to use paypal for any online shopping I do I dont want to have to go through this just to make an account.
Does anyone know why I am having this problem just to make an account or if this is a regular procedure for shopto? it seems unnecessarily awkward

Yeah they're a pain. I can't even buy from them anymore since they'll only post to a billing address I no longer live at which they won't allow me to change on their system.

Don't see a season pass on the store, only an upgrade to the 'digital premium edition'. Won't that only work with digital copies?

Good deal but having played it today, I'd like to get further into the game before committing. Potentially though, a brilliant season pass based on the fun I've had playing today
