Yes I believe it's faster too. But your comment of far superior sounds a bit off. The bus is limited to 600 M/sec no matter what drive you connect. This drive goes over 500 M/sec
So by this math it can only be 1/6 faster if that.

Thought there might be a noticeable increase in performance from a Fusion Drive with a 120GB Samsung EVO 840 and Western Digital Scorpio Black 320gb but really can't tell the difference.
Don't get me wrong - write speeds are a LOT faster but real world experience/use isn't that noticeable...
