​Nope you sign up free of charge. Either Quidco or Top Cashback are free. Do both as sometimes 1 has deals on that other doesn't. You don't get loads of spam from them. Not sure if there's a minimum as I just leave my cash in there accumulating.

I too had this issue but it's because they take the payment on release so
If the price drops (as if) or rises (more likely) from pre order date they won't lose out. Also can't use vouchers or game credit to buy stuff through quidco, they can't have you making money on a virtual currency if you understand what I mean

With TCB it took a few others on my first go and then on my second purchase it was almost instantly. Not a big fan of Quidco.
