Just buy a CISS system from aliexpress. I have spent about £8 on ink for 2 printers for the last 3 years.

Tesco have the xp332 and the xp335 reduced to £29
Both will take non genuine cartridges .

did you update the firmware? always opt for manual update not auto and then day no whenever it asks you to update.

good find, only problem is epson put chips in their printers which mean you have to buy official epson ink ,which costs £30 a time!!

Ditto to the comments above, we use cheaper alternatives and all the printer asks us is 'continue?' when it detects non genuine inks.
The third party inks don't last as long as originals, but the cheaper price outweighs this.

We used a cheap black ink in ours and it ruined it. Colours work fine and if printing a photo on photo paper the black works but it won't print black text anymore on regular paper

I have always had Epson printers, never had an issue using the cheaper ink. The price is a steal! :sunglasses:
