So Black Friday is starting tomorrow for EE.

There is a sim only offer starting and I'll update the thread with further deals.

Deal 1;

This is for new and upgrading customers.

Unlimited mins plus texts with 20 gb data, £19.99 or if your an existing customer it will be 16.49 with add line discount.

Use your mins, texts plus 500mb data anywhere in Europe for free plus bt sports and Apple Music free for 6 months makes this deal even better.

The £19.99 EE black Friday sim only deal is tracking on Quidco at £70 rather than £49.50 as would be expected from the offers listed on Quidco - maybe tracking based on list price? Would theoretically get the cost down to £14.16 per month.

Deal 2;

Osprey (mini wifi router).

64GB data plus device for free at 30.50 a month or if your an existing customer will be 27.50.

Great value for really good and fast internet plus bt sports and Apple Music.

Deal 3;

Top up £20.00 and get a pixi 4 smartphone for free which is usually £30-40. Can't really complain for anyone looking for a basic phone which allows WhatsApp, facebook etc.

** leafleft picture has also now been uploaded**

More deals will be uploaded later.

20GB deal is deal is 12m

Hi I hope the following can help someone in a similar situation.

I am an existing EE sim only customer and had to speak to their customer services on another matter this evening. While I was on the phone we discussed the 20gb sim only deal above. I said I was interested but would rather order online to get quidco cashback (£27.50 for me being an existing customer). They offered to match this by applying a credit for £27.50 to my account immediately. Not bad as this is at least guaranteed whereas quidco isn't. Worth a try too perhaps?

Deal 1 is very tempting. I've recently moved away from BT broadband, so my £16 plan is due to move to £21, and I have no BT sport. Shame that my contract doesn't end until February.

22 Nov 16 #20
Is deal 2 a rolling contract (30 days) or a tie-in for 12 months? There was an earlier deal on here that gave 32gb for £14.50 (half price) which expired 14/11, but that was on a rolling contract. So this is double the data, for £1.50 more (£14.50 x2) but you do get the osprey mini. I am guessing since this is a data sim only, you don't get BT Sport or Apple music free for 6 months?

Thanks. Gone for the £19.99 20GB SIMO contract. Quidco tracked at £70, only expected £49.50... Will see if that changes (or is indeed paid at all). TopCashBack have the Black Friday deals listed for cashback, only £40 on this contract though. Either cashback make this a stunning deal.

New customers only I reckon, not sure what the process is for taking this deal for existing customers though. I'm transferring from another network so its fine for me. When I signed up there was an option that asked if I was an existing customer or not though, so maybe the process is the same.

Please note....

This deal is NOT for their full speed 4GEE.
It only allows 4G "up to" 60Mbps.

If you want the full 4GEE speeds, it will cost £25 a month. (I get 125Mbps speeds with this!)

The 16GB 4GEE for 19.99 deal, a couple of months ago was a better deal.
mmurdoch
25 Nov 16 #120
Had there 4GEE up to 60mbps for last 2 years been quick enough to be honest, 4GEE Max might be overkill for some people who's happy with 4GEE and worth the money.
Only thing that annoys me is the poor 500mb EU data use on the middle tear tariff and having to mess about with crap Wi-Fi in bars and hotels but then again come June 2017 EU roaming is supposed to be scrapped

I'm due for retention with EE too.

I Just called EE to ask if they could do anything to start to match the BT Black Friday sim only deal - £20 for 20GB with £80 Amazon voucher.

The EE guy was nice but pretty much said 'no we cant do anything to match that and asked if I wanted a PAC code to move my number across to BT, so I said yes.

He then said 'I might or might not hear from their 'Refuse to Lose' team today or tomorrow'.

Haha I thought they would try a bit harder than that to keep me!

25 Nov 16 #122
Same here, just called them only offered 4gb data unlim mins & text, no EU use at all for £8.99. Said no chance voda, three and bt are offering better deals so grabbed 2 x pac codes. Just got in touch and both BT and Apple are included so no drama just need to text them.
It's took over a month as this was second time I got PAC codes and TBH wasn't expecting them to ring as they never did first time

Received call from outbound department which is above retention. Says it's his job to keep me with EE
chrisfloyd82
26 Nov 16 #134
Have to vote hot on this, got as an additional line on my account to my contract that ends in 2 weeks so should work out with just this for £16.49 when that ends also tried to get it via Quidco so if that has tracked could be a gleaming deal

hey mate

how is the roaming speed and stability with ee? is it fast and unstable?

I'm currently on three and their offering have been unusable and utter turd in 6 major european cities i have visited this year. my girlfriends vodafone sim was getting fast and stable internet during this time.

I'm hoping ee roaming compares to vodafone and not three..

Sorry mate I barely do any travelling abroad but EE signal has been bullet proof for me in the UK. Sorry I can't help more.

26 Nov 16 #137
just received my call from the outbound dept after requesting my pac code. I've snapped up 20gb on the 4g Max plan unlim texts and mins and Bt sport for £14.99 pm and managed to retain my f & f discount. best thing to do is request your pac code threatening to leave and wait for a call a few hours later

quidco shows the £70 cashback BUT for a £21.99 + sim contract .... so how are you guys getting the £70 to track when quidco states sim cost has to be £21.99 plus
anotherone10
26 Nov 16 1 #140
I assume it's tracking at £70 because the EE package was originally £34.99 despite it now being £19.99. Whether Quidco will actually pay out £70 or realise the 'glitch?' and reduce it to £44.50, who knows...

Just got offered the same deal after requesting PAC codes for both my lines! Not bad at all...

Wow how are all you guys getting calls back from the refuse to lose team! I requested my PAC code yesterday and am still waiting haha.

27 Nov 16 #144
Quick question, I'm a new EE customer, have just signed up for the £20 per month black friday deal and want to immediately sign up for the additional line at £16. But because the sim takes 2-3 days to deliver and you need your number to show that you are a customer when getting additional line, it won't let me get the additional line. Any idea how to get around this? Thanks!
the_mercy_of_percy
27 Nov 16 #145
I spoke to EE on livechat last night. They said that I'd refused an offer their retentions team made to me (which was just the Black Friday standard deal) and suggested that if I'd changed my mind I should phone back to speak to their customer services team about it...

No....don't think I'll be doing that...

Shame, I liked EE. But I'm not going to chase them to spend my money!

Companies are silly really.
Eski101
27 Nov 16 1 #146
I know it sounds like a right ar$e ache but you could ring them and tell them you haven't received your pac code text yet and ask for a new one to be sent. It might ping the outbound team to give you a call later
the_mercy_of_percy
27 Nov 16 #147
Yes mate. That's a fair idea. Just I'm now more irked than anything that I'd need to contact them for a third time. Much prefer just getting stuff sorted in one go than having to go back and forth so think I'll just head over to BT (unless EE magically call today to offer me something I can't refuse!)

Anyone know the cancellation terms, want to sign up to the Black Friday deal but not sure what signal / data speed will be like at my office and home locations (tried the signal checkers but you never know till you join the network....)
